  • Ice machines available in the Campsite and Scuba Adventures

Southern  Mozambique has experienced unusually large amounts of rain recently witch could be linked to the Cyclone front that passed through Northern Mozambique two weeks ago. Good news is that it has revised in cooling temperatures after the December - January heat wave experienced in Region recently.

Local news is that Scuba Adventures has built a new Restaurant in the Dive camp witch serves mouthwatering local cuisine plus the customary fare of Burgers and Pr egos. A new Surf shop has opened in town supplying all manner of beach clothing including the usual branded T-Shits and board shorts.

The road from Ponta D' Ouro - Maputo was graded in November, but unfortunately degraded again due to the vast amount of rain experienced over the Holiday season. Accommodation is still available in most of the resorts for Valentines day but the March and April Holiday periods are fast filling up.

The self catering Luxury Houses at Mar E Sol are offering specials over the 21st - 25th March, contact Kelly on or for any other accommodation in the area.
